The New York Times Co. is considering a $5 monthly fee if you want to access its website NYTimes.com, including all its articles, blogs and multimedia. If you’re a subscriber of the printed edition, you may gain access for $2.50 a month.
If you will remember, NYTimes.com was already charging for access to its columnist’s content. The company eventually abandoned the service.
With revenues dropping (just like anyone else), the company is seriously going back to its monthly fee. Now, would you pay $5 to have NYTimes.com?
