Web developer contract for Recovery.gov awarded

Recovery.gov, the online destination that will track all the spending associated with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, has awarded its web developer contract of $9.5 million to Smartronix. The total cost is expected to reach $18 million until 2014.

Smatronix is given until mid-October to work on the website that is seen as online showcase of the government’s transparency.
