British Royal Family joins the Twitter bandwagon
by Dominic Rivera on July 10, 2009 | 2 Comments | News

Roy-fam-2007

Buckingham Palace announced that the British Royal Family has joined Twitter, BBC News reports.

The goal is to use Twitter’s power in spreading news about the Royal Family. In other words, wherever they will be and what the family members are up to. It was clarified, however, by a spokesman that neither the Queen nor other members of the Royal family would be personally posting twits.

In other words, it’s posting by proxy. If you’re still interested, go follow them at @BritishMonarchy.

As of writing this post, they already have 4,076 Followers. They are not following anyone… that’s not nice.
