They’re back. After the highly successful gig of producing Wallstrip, Adam Elend, Jeff Marks, and Lindsay Campbell are back under a new digital studio named Bright Red Pixels. The new company specializes in “social entertainment.”
The company website doesn’t reveal much but while waiting for what I’m sure would be a highly successful endeavor once again for the team, I suggest you visit their Facebook page. Once you’re there, become a fan. Why not? That’s Lindsay Campbell! Okay, become a fan because of Adam and Jeff as well.

Twitter gives you 140 characters to answer the question “What are you doing?” With that limitation, be creative and be exciting. Don’t send boring twits (we’re guilty of this most of the time) especially that there are Twitter Cops now…

IAC and media entrepreneur Ben Silverman announced that they are forming a new company to capitalize on the ever-evolving world of multimedia production and distribution, leveraging unique marketing expertise. The company, which will be headed by Ben Silverman, will unite producers, creators, advertisers and distributors under one roof and produce all forms of content for distribution across a variety of platforms around the world.
IAC will provide initial capital to the venture, though the parties intend to ultimately structure the venture in a way that its results will not be consolidated with the financial results of IAC, whether through the participation of new investors or otherwise.

With videos from CollegeHumor.com viewed 300 million times, IAC deemed that it is best to create a video content company called Notional. This new company will create programming of all genres for all demographics, to be distributed across multiple media platforms, including television. Videos will also cater to a broader audience.
Ricky Van Veen, one of the co-founders of CollegeHumor.com will head Notional. Van Veen’s fellow co-founder Josh Abramson will remain at CollegeHumor and oversee its operations. We wonder what could have happened had Zach Klein and Jakob Lodwick stayed.

Nintendo is inviting everyone to kick back and transform their living rooms into a tropical island adventure with the Wii Sports Resort video game. The game introduces a new era of motion controls with 12 resort-themed sports enhanced by the included Wii MotionPlus accessory.
The 12 sports (archery, basketball, bowling, golf, table tennis, Swordplay, Air Sports, canoeing, cycling, Frisbee, Power Cruising and wakeboarding) allow players to use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers in different ways. (The resort was full so I was not able to try any of the games. If they send me a copy I’ll be glad to play it… and return it afterwards.)
To celebrate its launch, Nintendo converted Times Square’s military island into a resort in itself. We have some pics here as we roamed the island. The game goes on sale nationwide on July 26.

If Twitter is to convince businesses to use its services, the company should be able to state its case why their service is really compelling. Twitter is doing so with the release of its Twitter 101 for Business.
- “Every day, millions of people use Twitter to create, discover and share ideas with others. Now, people are turning to Twitter as an effective way to reach out to businesses, too. From local stores to big brands, and from brick-and-mortar to internet-based or service sector, people are finding great value in the connections they make with businesses on Twitter,” the online document states.
For those who are questioning how Twitter will make money, this document is a clear indication that it will be through businesses using Twitter and not through us, regular users.
